THE SUNSHINE IS gone and while it may still be warm, it isn’t going to stay dry.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for the entire country this morning.
There is a high risk of thunder and localised flooding with heavy rain leading to rainfall accumulations of up to 35 mm. The warning will stay in place until 9pm.
While tomorrow will start dry, showers will spread eastwards through the morning and will become widespread by early afternoon, some heavy or possibly thundery.
Those showery and breezy conditions are set to continue on Friday with rain turning persistent and heavy at times.
