SHOWERY SPELLS AND gusts will make today a Bank Holiday Monday for staying indoor until later this evening.
The day will be dry in many places, Met Éireann says, but that will give way to showery outbreaks.
The weather service says:
“Scattered showers will gradually move into other areas, with a few turning heavy this afternoon and early evening.
“A mix of cloud and sunny spell through the day, with some nice sunshine this evening as showers die out. Some areas may escape fully dry throughout.
“Maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees Celsius. Westerly breezes will veer northwesterly later today, gusty around showers.”
Tonight will be dry, misty and cold and the showers will continue into tomorrow. The rain will continue into the end of this week.
